Nader Kabbani

Founder & Managing Director

Nader Kabbani is an economist and policy entrepreneur with extensive experience in policy research, advisory work, and convening. He has held senior research and leadership positions at the Brookings Doha Center and the Middle East Council on Global Affairs, where he led research programmes, convened policy roundtables, and produced policy outputs on Gulf economic issues. Kabbani also worked with the National Planning Council on the Third National Development Strategy (NDS3). His work has spanned economic policy, labour markets, and corporate governance across the Arab region, with a particular focus on questions facing Gulf economies. He founded Sustainable Solutions to bring his experience to a new model of collective advisory work.

Siraj Ibrahim

Research Associate

Siraj Ibrahim is a Research Associate with experience in public policy, economic development, and international affairs. He previously served as a Research Assistant and Program Coordinator at the College of Public Policy, Hamad Bin Khalifa University. There he supported policy research, stakeholder engagement, grant development, and the delivery of major initiatives involving government, academic, and international partners. A graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, he specialises in translating complex policy challenges into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and long-term development. At Sustainable Solutions, he brings this experience to the research and convening behind the firm’s collective advisory work.

Sustainable Solutions also draws on an extensive network of local, regional and international collaborators — researchers, policy specialists, and practitioners — engaged on a project-by-project basis to support specific initiatives.
